Door County Bride-To-Be ~ A Break from Planning for a Shower

Just a couple weeks ago my future sister in law and bridesmaid, Becky, and family hosted a wedding shower for me at Jayson’s parent’s home.  It was really nice to have an event for the wedding that I did not have to plan .  Becky had asked my opinion about a few things for the shower and took the planning from there.

During the shower we played games, such as dressing me up in tissue paper:

We ate lots of yummy food (inlcuding cake pops and oreo white chocolate treats):

But the best part of the shower was spending time with and getting to know my new family to be.

I must admit that I was pretty nervous to have all of the attention being on me for the afternoon, but it was a great way to met some of Jayson’s family that I hadn’t yet and get more comfortable with the attention for the wedding.
