The Story … Paul and Sherrie met after an exciting blind date in January 2010. It was then, after ten short months that they realized they had never been happier, and decided to get married!

Sherrie’s family had spent years summering at their homes in Gills Rock and Sister Bay. Since 1993, the Teuber family had enjoyed famous Door County activities like hiking, boating, dining out and creating family memories that would last a lifetime!

After getting engaged on Thanksgiving 2010, Paul and Sherrie immediately went to Door County for the weekend, and asked to see the Gordon Lodge. It was a cold, bitter weekend and the Lodge was closed. But after fond memories of sipping cocktails outside on the water the previous summer, Sherrie and Paul knew that the Gordon Lodge will be the ultimate setting for their Door County dream wedding.

Not a detail was spared as Paul and Sherrie chose the date and color scheme of their wedding. The couple chose June 11, 2011 as their wedding date, and decided on a hot pink and lime green theme for their colors. The goal for the wedding weekend was the celebration of the couple by always being fun and festive!

Finally, after a short six months of planning, the wedding weekend had finally arrived. After a Thursday rehearsal dinner at the Waterfront Restaurant, the couple made it their point to spend quality time with their wedding party and immediate families. Friday was spent finalizing details, golfing and relaxing. At Happy Hour, however, the wedding fun began again as Paul and Sherrie welcomed all of their guests to a festive Tiki themed party at JJ’s and La Puerta Cantina in Sister Bay. This allowed Paul and Sherrie to greet all of their wonderful guests who had traveled from all over the world to come to beautiful Door County. On Saturday June 11, Paul and Sherrie’s wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to all of the wonderful Door County vendors. It truly was a day to remember!
