Door County Bride-To-Be — Country Chic + Vintage Peach

December 22nd, 2011 by Amanda - 1 Comments - Leave a Comment

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been diving right into the wedding planning process. I’ve never actually been around someone who’s planned a wedding start to finish, so this is all new to me. Thankfully, and with much help and support from my fiancé Kyle, my family, my friends, and my future wedding planner sister, I’ve become much more relaxed and I’m ready to enjoy this crazy ride!

The first thing I did after I got engaged was, of course tell everybody, and then go and buy some bridal magazines. As every girl has at some point in time, I’d already thought about what kind of wedding I wanted, and what theme and colors it would be. I still had a lot of ideas running around in my head, so after researching for hours upon end, and going back and forth between different ideas, I’m happy to say I’ve finally decided on the perfect one!

My fiance and I are very laid back people. We love the outdoors, and would much rather sit at a cozy local restaurant than a fancy country club. We both have an appreciation for antiques and we are definitely country at heart. I love the idea of having a very elegant yet laid back wedding, where there might just be a few quirky surprises along the way. After all, Door County is kind of a world of it’s own anyway, so anything is possible!
